The present society has become a web of cell phones rather than social relations. Its usefulness and impact can be gauged from the fact that between the year 2000 and the present time, the use of cell phones in India has become quite popular, starting from the upper classes of the society to the lowest classes, in government and non-government institutions, among the elderly and children alike. This popularity, prevalence and use has established the mobile phone as an important link to connect the society on one hand, while on the other hand it has also become a matter of concern for the society. Today there are about 27 crore mobile phone users in India. Every fourth person in India has a mobile phone. According to an estimate, 10 thousand mobile sets are being sold every hour in India. Recently, India has left America behind in terms of the number of mobile phone users. Now only China is ahead of India. On an average, a family in India has more than one mobile phone. There was a time when mobile phone meant only that it could be used to make and receive calls, although even then it was a wonder because one could go anywhere with it in hand. But now the use of mobile phone has changed. Now it is not just a means to make or receive calls but it works as many electronic gadgets simultaneously. Ultimately, the meaning is that when we use anything more than required, it also has a greater impact on us. Whether we use mobile phone less or more, it also affects our social life. If we try to know the psychological effect, then every section of the society feels stress due to mobile phone. Sometimes due to unnecessary SMS and sometimes due to untimely calls, because we cannot always be ready for any information.

1. Introduction

“Information system is the pivot of the world. The whole world revolves around information. True and authentic information is the basis of any private establishment or government office. Information has its own vast area. There is no limit to information and its types are also limitless. Various techniques and modern equipment are adopted to transmit and receive this information, that is why the information revolution emerged after the green revolution and industrial revolution.”

“Information has a very important place in our daily life too. New uses and efforts are being made every day to send information from one place to another. Postal service, telephone, radio, television, radar and satellite etc. communication systems are the result of these efforts.” In this series, the name of mobile phone comes. The present time is the time of mobile revolution. Information is exchanged in mobile phones only in the form of sound. A telephone is located at a particular place, whereas we can take a mobile phone to any place within its range. Information in a telephone flows through wires. Whereas in a mobile phone, information flows in the atmosphere in the form of very subtle sound waves.

At present, the biggest contribution of science is the mobile phone (mobile telephone device). This device has taken human society to the moon. Grahamwell first invented the telephone in 1876, which was related to a wireless. Through a telephone, a person can talk to his relatives living at another place from one place, but this service was limited to a particular place only, because it worked through a wireless. There was a need for a device that could work beyond the limits of a particular place, then the cell was invented in 1947 by the engineers of Bell Laboratories for mobile phone base stations and in the 1960s, Bell Laboratories developed it further. This cell was used in the army during the Second World War and in the civil services in the 1950s, which Reginald Cassanden demonstrated as a radio telephone. On 10 June 1969, the first wireless phone was issued in America on number 3449750.

If we look at the negative effects of mobile phones, it is proving to be helpful in increasing distances in social relations. Be it sorrow or happiness, a person ends his social responsibility by talking on the mobile phone for two minutes.

The place of mobile phones has become high among parents and children due to convenience, which is enough to a great extent to increase family distances. Accidents are increasing due to talking on mobile phones while driving cars and motorcycles. Due to which family imbalance is being created.

SMS sent from mobile phones have a mental effect on the person. It is seen as an addiction. Many times, there are reports of accidents due to these. In married life, mobile phone gives the impression of a third person between husband and wife. Due to which, along with discord in the family, divorce also takes place. This means of communication is giving birth to many evils in the new generation. It has become easy for a person to think and do lies, theft, blackmailing, obscene SMS, kidnapping and immoral conduct.

There has been a great increase in the use of mobile phones among people in India. At present, India ranks second in the telecommunication market. Mobile phones have brought people closer to each other. Communication has become very easy through this. Mobile phones are also used to overcome the feeling of loneliness. Mobile phones also have the facility of internet and email. It has many features like listening to music, reading books, dictionary, games etc. Anyone can be contacted instantly through mobile phones. However, mobile phones are beneficial as well as harmful. Some people are using mobile phones so much that it is taking the form of addiction.

Smart phones are very useful in our lives. Youth experience physical and psychological changes through smart phones. Smart phones are entering the lives of people in India at a fast pace. They are being used for many purposes other than talking and messaging. Such as live chatting, searching for information, mobile banking and entertainment etc. Mobile phone is considered to be very important for development at present. Mobile increases social relations and personal security. Many people are increasing their income with the help of mobile phone. In the field of agriculture also, youth are making a lot of progress through mobile, they are able to know the value of the produce coming from the markets. Mobile phone is also very useful in emergency situations. At present, mobile technology has made our life easy. Mobile phone has a big role in giving a new dimension to human life.

The economic impact of mobile phone is also the cause of the problem. More expenditure than the budget has started happening due to mobile phone. Children's pocket money has started being spent only on mobile phone. If we look at the positive impact of the use of mobile phone, then mobile phone has changed the color of business revolution. Boys and girls who have come to the city from remote villages for employment and education can talk to their family members from time to time and take advice. It has become easier for working women to maintain a balance between home and outside work. Getting information before time helps in resolving problems and completing work. Mobile phones are proving to be helpful in the development of society. Thus, mobile phones have their own importance in maintaining social relations.

3. Conclusion

The present society has become a web of cell phones i.e. mobiles rather than social relations. Its utility and impact can be estimated from the fact that between the year 2000 and the present time,

the use of cellphones in India has become quite popular, starting from the upper classes of the society to the lowest classes, in government and non-government institutions, among the elderly and children alike. This popularity, popularity and use has established the mobile phone as an important link to connect the society, on the other hand, it has also become a matter of concern for the society. The main reason for this concern is the very fast increasing use of cellphones among the general public. In the present society, the cellphone has entered the most intimate parts of our personal life very quickly. Due to this, instead of connecting relationships, it has also started becoming a factor in breaking relationships. Sociologists all over the world have started trying to make the society aware on this subject. Along with creating distances in family and social relationships, it is also becoming a cause of confusion and narcissism in the youth. On one hand, it poses a risk of reducing the use of healthy means of entertainment in children, on the other hand, it also increases the burden of loneliness due to not being able to spend enough time with parents.

Mobile phone has many benefits. It is considered the biggest symbol of modernity. Mobile has become an integral part of our life. If mobile phone is used properly, it is no less than a boon. But if it is used excessively, it is a home of diseases and separates you from the world. Use mobile phone to learn, but do not make it your life. Instead of using it inappropriately for your better life, it should be used carefully and made useful in life.
